A contextual menu is a popup menu that changes it contents depending on what was under the mouse pointer at the time the menu was brought up. If the index was empty only two choices are available. If there was an item seleted in the index the menu contains all the relevant commands that can be carried out with this item. The same applies if several items are selected.

  6. Tip: In QPict the contextual menu can be brought up either by holding down the control key while clicking in the index or by clicking the mouse and keep presseing the mouse button until the menu is brought up.
